Hello from London, England!
Despite my being in the UK, I am still very much celebrating Canadian Thanksgiving (shout out to Julie for hosting Logan and me)! While thinking about what I am grateful for so I’d have something to say when it was my turn, I realized that there is so much I am thankful for, that it’s really hard to narrow it down. I couldn’t hog the floor for that long, because it’s impolite and I have social anxiety anyway, so I thought I’d continue expressing my gratitude here.
Firstly and most importantly, I am thankful for my parents. Despite my last cheery post, I’ve still been struggling a lot with my mental health. It’s nowhere near as bad as earlier this year, but it hasn’t been easy either. My parents have been my biggest supporters. I love them so much and feel so lucky that I got stuck with them and vice versa.
Other things I’m thankful for are (in no particular order):
Blanky
My whole family
Friends
Snuggles
Universal healthcare
Antidepressants
American Girl Dolls
Fluffy dogs
My education
The Muppets
Ice cream
Secular holidays
Michaels’ 60% off sales

A really great poop
Yiddish words making their way into English
